| Whether you make Kae’s embossed velvet pillow, the doily or bag, or use these
K-Lace® designs for your own projects, you’ll find many uses for these lace edgings and insertions. Full instructions are given for the bag and the pillow, with its piping and shirring details. Mitering instructions are included for making the doily edge.
Kae used a design from Fun & Fancy K-Lace® for her doily center, but this is optional and not included in this package. Kae’s 18" pillow is made from rayon velvet embossed using our fabric stamps. The embroidery designs are stitched with 80 wt. cotton or 60 wt. rayon on water soluble stabilizer, becoming beautiful, soft K-Lace®, which is then stitched into strips by hand or machine. Complete stitching instructions are given for the six insertion and eight edging designs from 3/4" to 1 3/4" wide. Border insertion shown on pillow and at left is 1 5/8" wide.
